Walking under the moonlit sky
She feels the fresh air brush past
Embracing her skin softly in a hug
As memories overcrowd her mind
Striding through woods a night
Blood trickeling down her arms
Through many a thorn she passes
Eyes set hard on her destination
In the cemetry she lays rest
Alongside those beloved and lost
Glancing up at a moon so whole
Tears fall as slowly she doses off
Sniffing the blood left atrail
Animals of many pass her by
Gathering what they may
For dawn is only a breath away
Fresh she arises this day
Leaves with pools of dew
Setting a foot once more
Chin up and eyes focused
Many a hour pass in silence
Before her place she finds
Yet exist there not here
A love promised for her
Inside crystals shatter
As photos fall before her
Such of those whose love
Lay deep in lies and fail
A man she loved once dear
Now forgotten forever more
Such men who fail to love
Toying with love they feel not
As sunshine creaps through
shadows fail to hide from eye
Photos a frame of another
One whom she came to love
Mysterious yet pure he was
Strong he stood yet fell he did
Charmed he loved her dear
Giving all he had to give
Wrapped up in his embrace
Purring a tune of content
Yet failed she did to see clear
What she saw exist there not
His wounds she treated well
Only those he wished to show
But with time went her vision
For saw her not wounds a new
Bleed he did before her daily
Failing yet trying to heal
That which she saw not open
Die he did there before her
Live him did in skin a new
Yet he who loved her once
Lies now in memories to tell
In many a photo aframe
In the silence she dwells
Seeking a face unknown
Cuts reopen before a flame
Sitting she travels in thought
No day wasted in dreams
Rested and fed she sets off
Eyes sharp and focused
Into the unknown to live
She feels the fresh air brush past
Embracing her skin softly in a hug
As memories overcrowd her mind
Striding through woods a night
Blood trickeling down her arms
Through many a thorn she passes
Eyes set hard on her destination
