Some believe to be strong
We need to put aside
The emotions we feel within
To give power of control
Over to mentality and logic
Yet the brain can torment us
It can break us down emotionally
With sharp words and lies
Some believe to be strong
We need to follow our heart
Wherever it may lead us
Reaching out for our dreams
Venturing into the unknown
Prepared to Sacrifice everything
Just to embrace the hope of love
Which we don't understand
Although we need both heart and mind
We need not obey nor follow
Neither logic nor emotion
For the wisest choice to make
Would be to choose to submit
All our plans and aspirations
All our emotions and hopes
Over into the hands of Yeshua (Jesus)
